Your OS, screen resolution, etc. VERSION - What is the game version? You can find this out in the game menu, at the left bottom of the screen. Unfortunately, the -novideo fix above doesn't work either since it's obviously a different issue entirely. You can peep my output log here:Really looking forward to playing DotE, but no rush! I know these things take time and good things come to those who wait!:B1:According to your log file, you have the second issue: your steam account name contains special characters. Please follow the workaround described in the first post and tell me if it solved your problem. Originally posted by:Over the past few hours noticed that the level time/game time displayed at the end of level screen is correct for level 1, but shows the current session time after the 2nd level.e.g. If I've had the program running for 3 hrs and start a new game and do the 1st level in 10 min and the second level in 10min, then the game time in the end of level screen shows 10min at the end of lvl 1, but 3hrs 20min (and not just 20min) at the end of lvl 2.I can confirm that. I'm pretty sure that at the end of Level 3 it showed me about 1h30 while Steam also show me the about the same time played and I had about 4 failed run before finishing the three levels. Hey, I've played the game for a little while and I'm liking it so far.
I really like the sleek look of the interface and the characters. It's pixel art I know, but it looks much better than the traditional pixel men with oversized heads in other so-called 'retro' games.
You know what I mean. The font choice also complements nicely to the overall style. And music is nice too! So thank you for making something this original and interesting:)My problems are:1. Once losing one of the two starting heros, I could no longer access the hero status panel.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or an intentional design choice.2. I never successfully constructed a module for getting more industry. The hero just worked continously on it and never finished it. It was the case with any of the three heros I encountered, including the tech savy doctor. I did manage to have the doctor to finish the first food module, but when constructing the second food module, same issue occured.
Was this a bug or did I miss something?3. I seemed to have discovered a new hero in a room but I couldn't seem to control him or inspect him in the hero status panel.
Was it a bug? He was sitting on top of the matrix thing with a cross on it in the middle of the room. He said something like 'Let's get rich together'. He was a hero right?Thank you for your time.

I think you probably did construct the module - afaik the module creation is instant, but the heroes that can repair modules will stand by them with the gears above their heads and while they do that there's an added +1 or so bonus from the module.3. Sounds like a merchant rather than a hero, iirc. If you find a hero they will have recruit/ignore (or similar) buttons beneath them.
Merchants don't have this, and you have to click on them for the hero to interact with them (to buy/sell items). I've found a few bugs today.
